I designed and facilitated CAMEO’s Rural Summit and it was great. We started with a clip from Tony Hseih, the owner/founder of Zappos, that focused on his efforts to revitalized Las Vegas’ old downtown. There’s a lot in the clip, but the main idea was creating the conditions for entrepreneurism, collaboration and innovation. This is a shift from helping to start indiviidual businesses and focusing on forging a context instead. We also had two great presenters, Nathan Johnston of Pusher and Gina Lujan of Hacker Labs.
